When Windmills, a local children’s charity, faced a critical setback—a broken boiler threatening their ability to operate their children’s bereavement services —Phoenix didn’t hesitate to help.
Within just five days of learning about the issue, our team delivered and installed a brand-new Valliant boiler complete with a 7-year warranty, restoring warmth and safety to the facility. Thanks to the community-mindedness and kindness of both the Phoenix SLT and suppliers Valliant, we were able to provide the boiler and installation at less than half the cost quoted by other providers.
This swift response meant Windmills could redirect vital funds back into supporting the children who rely on them. It’s a proud example of how our technical expertise and community spirit—alongside generous partners like Valiant who also helped contribute towards the cost with a much-appreciated discount—can make a meaningful impact.
