2024 has been a year full of celebrations and big wins for Phoenix and we’re simply glowing with pride in our achievements, our team and our service to customers.
Reaching the milestone of 30 years in business was an outstanding achievement and we started the celebrations on the 6th September. October saw us introduce the Flame Awards to recognise and reward the team, with the accolade of Employee of the Year going to Michelle Barrow.
The team was further strengthened as we welcomed many new faces, skills and talent to the business over the course of the year. Professional development and accredited training have been on the increase, and we were particularly proud to see Tyler voted the most popular apprentice by his peers at the engineering faculty of Stoke on Trent College. Decades of long service were recognised in the business including Ryan achieving 20 years service!!
Our renewable energy side of the business grew and saw us become a Duracell Platinum Partner. While continuing to support our established customers, we embraced new business wins too. The most rewarding aspect of serving our customers is the positive reviews we receive. The 99% satisfaction score from Powys council, stood out amongst the 2024 feedback.
Being successful helps us in our charity endeavours. The 2024 Phoenix Golf Day back in July saw us raise £3250 for the Dougie Mac. We sponsor both The Crown Talke FC adult and Bradwell u9 Blacks football teams and wish them well as they reach the halfway point in the season.
We will be driving towards even more success in 2025 (and in stylish new vans!) as we continue to grow, develop and invest in Phoenix.
