As part of National Careers Week, the team from our Phoenix Gas Services division were proud to visit a local school to speak with Year 7 and Year 10 students about careers in the energy sector and the opportunities available through apprenticeships.
During the visit, our team delivered sessions exploring what apprenticeships involve, the training and support available, and the many career pathways within the industry. It was particularly rewarding to see one of the school’s alumni, Oscar, return to share his experience of beginning his career with Phoenix Gas Services — a great example of how apprenticeships can help young people take their first steps into the industry.
Supporting events like this allows us to build strong relationships with local schools while helping students feel more confident and informed about their future career choices.
