Just over a year ago we welcomed Paul Compson to Phoenix Gas Services as head of Support Services. Paul joined us with a long and strong background in our industry, and a dedication to quality, health and safety and seeing a job well done. His work path began in groundworks, moving to financial management, lead gas engineer, regional operations roles right through to the boardroom of his family-owned plumbing, heating and air conditioning business.
He was assigned the role of Interim Operations Director at Phoenix back in February and has demonstrated excellent leadership qualities. His clear vision, ability to get things done and his people skills have shone through in this time, leading to his permanent appointment as Operations Director in July.
Paul’s led an interesting life, with stints as a drummer in a rock band, he’s been a parish counsellor, and has event taken a spin on the DJ decks! He has certainly got into the rhythm of operations here at Phoenix and we wish him every success.
